As one of Exeter’s most popular wedding venues, Reed Hall is licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships and can cater for weddings of all shapes and sizes.

Our dedicated Wedding Co-ordinator will work with you to create your perfect celebration and help take some of the stress out of your planning. The combination of historical atmosphere, first-class cuisine and an exceptional personal service make Reed Hall the perfect wedding venue. Reed Hall also offers you and some of your guests elegant accommodation, with the 8 original bedrooms on the top floor of the house.

When visiting the self-contained Streatham site, everything is within a 10 minute walk, leaving no excuse not to enjoy the many attractions this 300 acre campus offers. The grounds have achieved a Green Flag Award for the last three years the campus is ranked among the best park and green spaces in the country, with organised tours available by pre-booking.

There is plenty of art and culture to soak up, with a fine collection of sculptures along the sculpture walk or avisit to the Bill Douglas Cinema Museum giving access to one of the largest collections of material relating to the moving image in Britain.

Venturing into Exeter is a must with so many things to see and do, from shopping, excellent food, historical visitor attractions and scenery such as the Cathedral and Quayside.

  • Reed Hall is situated on the University of Exeter's Streatham Campus, a 20 minute walk from the nearest railway station, Exeter St David's. Reed Hall is number 14 6E on the map of the Streatham Campus There are regular bus services onto campus from the City Centre and the Digby Park and Ride site. There is dedicated free car parking on site for people attending events at Reed Hall, which can be accessed from Streatham Drive. Please note: The Reed Hall car park has approximately 35 spaces which are available to customers using Reed Hall on a first come first served basis.
