An Action Packed Day in Devon

Start your action-packed day with an early morning cycle along the purpose built mountain bike trails at Haldon Forest Park, just outside Exeter. If you’re feeling brave, have a go at Go Ape!, Haldon’s highwire forest adventure course of rope bridges, tarzan swings and zip slides.

Back on solid ground, take the A38 towards Exeter, then head east on the A30 towards Honiton and the Land Rover Experience centre. For an experience you won’t forget, this 4x4 driving centre gives you the chance to drive over some of the most beautiful and challenging off road terrain in East Devon. You can also try archery and clay pigeon shooting by arrangement. If you fancy a quieter afternoon, visit Hollies Trout Farm & Fishery, which offers fly and coarse angling in a tranquil rural valley, near Honiton.

Head out to dinner in the evening to Combe House, a country house hotel and restaurant outside Honiton with a Michelin Rising Star. Choose from an excellent menu of seasonal meats, game and vegetables and an extensive wine list to round off your day of action and leisure!
