Bedrooms

This luxury Devon hotel has 54 well appointed bedrooms, comfortably furnished in a warm, comfortable and contemporary style. Most of the rooms offer charming views of the beautiful landscaped gardens and beyond. There are double, twin and single rooms and for family parties we have bedrooms with connecting doors and triple rooms to which a small cot or bed can be added. Two of the ground floor bedrooms are wheelchair accessible and have doors that lead out on to the gardens. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bath or shower room, TV, trouser press, hair dryer and hospitality tray. Wireless internet access is complimentary throughout the hotel and grounds.

Out and About in Exeter & Devon

Exeter is surrounded by some of the country’s most attractive scenery. Discover the contrasting delights of the beaches (half an hour away) and the famous expanses of Dartmoor. Take to the River Exe and enjoy watersports such as canoeing and Dragon Boat racing. Alternatively, enjoy strolling along riverside walks through areas of outstanding natural beauty including an RSPB reserve on the estuary. With ample onsite parking and a range of amenities, Buckerell Lodge Hotel is suitable for all kinds of meetings from one to one interviews to large scale conferences. The Buckerell Suite can seat up to 80 delegates and three further suites area suitable for numbers between 10 and 50, all with climate control and two with wall-mounted plasma screens. We recognise that no two events are the same, but the dedication and commitment of our experienced staff will ensure you won't have to worry about a thing as we help you plan your event right down to the very last detail.

Although we have a range of rooms full of character, each meeting and event room has the same features:

We even have our own preferred suppliers for all Audio Visual requirements, including set design and sound systems. Before you arrive, all equipment in the room is checked with each room set up and available 30 minutes before your meeting or event. When you arrive at the hotel, your dedicated member of staff - available all day long - will meet you to run through all the details. They'll confirm what's been booked and organise any last minute changes or additional requirements. Then it's the simple things like agreeing the preferred method of communicating of any messages on the day.
