We also welcome dogs here and have two dog friendly rooms on the ground floor, 'Rear Admiral' and 'Commander', both with their own sea-facing balconies.

The Cary Arms in Devon is perfectly situated right on the South Devon Coastal Path and are just metres from a year-round dog friendly beach, so your dog will love it here!  When you bring your dog, we welcome them with their own dog bed and bowl for their stay.

Each of the 8 rooms provide guests with luxury accommodation, crisp bed linen, contemporary en-suite bathrooms and magnificent views, most rooms also have a terrace or balcony.  Each room is also equipped with a Flat screen DVD and CD TV, complimentary mineral water and slow gin and Elemis toiletries.  A turndown service is offered every evening.

Hotel residents have use of the dining facilities, resident's saloon, children's play den, parking, private terrace with garden overlooking the sea and 'Pod' (a glass and teak sphere for private dining and drinks for upto 6 guests).

Inside, big windows show off views across the bay. Portland Bill, fifty miles away, is visible on clear days. Gastro pub food cooked simply on the south Devon coast. The watchwords in the kitchen are fresh­ness and seasonality, underpinned by a deep rooted respect for the sur­rounding waters and pastures. Our restaurants daily changing menu reflects Devon coast and Devon country in equal measure. Expect superb Devon beef, Lyme Bay lobster and line caught seafood. Food to rival the very best restaurants in south Devon.

Hungry walkers, families, friends and travelling food­ies - this is a place where even a pint of prawns is done with panache. Dine outdoors in the warmer months and watch south Devon life in the bay unfold. There's a communal BBQ to cook a choice of local Devon sausages just the way you like them and a fabulous outdoor pizza oven. In cooler weather, choose something comforting and slowly cooked from the daily changing blackboard.
