Combe House Devon - Hotel & Restaurant
Discover this privately run elegant Elizabethan Manor, Restaurant and Hotel and find a truly English romantic country hideaway set in 3,500 acres with breathtaking views. This is Devon at its best where dining is a special experience.
Step inside to find a house with an airy magical atmosphere, it’s furnished stylishly and elegantly, yet still remains delightfully unstuffy. There are welcoming log fires, comfy chairs, treasured antiques and mullioned windows.
The Restaurant consists of two light but intimate dining rooms with chandeliers, log fires and spectacular country views where you can watch Arabian horses grazing freely.
The two Master Chefs of GB, Hadleigh Barrett and Stuart Brown create modern British dishes taking “local” a step further. They use seasonal produce from Combe’s restored Victorian Kitchen Gardens - definitely worth an inspection - here they really do maximise on taste and flavour and talk “food metres” rather than “food miles”.
Lunch £29, and Dinner £52 (3 courses).
It’s the atmosphere, the sense of spirit and the genuine warmth of the hospitality that really sets Combe apart!
Located 5 minutes from the A30/303 and 20 minutes from the M5 Exit 29 at Exeter - it’s easy to find – but yet you could be a million miles away from the rest of the world.
