We can host civil ceremonies & receptions for up to 120 guests seated, both inside our pretty wedding chapel and on our lovely lawn with the happy couple exchanging vows under our charming summer house. In spring the apple trees frame the scene perfectly and in summer the clematis and roses around the gazebo are truly stunning. Larger wedding groups love our Garden Party style wedding with picnic blankets and Pimms, luxury Hog roast buffet and cream tea canapes to show the very best Devon has to offer.

With 6 acres of grounds down to the River Taw the photos will be stunning and the professional team will make everything run to perfection. Our brides are always amazed at how relaxed their day is and their guests love the food and friendly staff.

Boasting an AA Rosette our kitchen team, headed by the winner of the Publican Chef of the Year National awards 2010, use the finest West Country produce to deliver simple yet beautiful meals. The portions are hearty (fit even for the Devon Farmers appetites) with a seasonal menu and daily specials which change constantly. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal with children welcome and the roaring fire will roast your toes during the dark winter months.
