The Washington Suite is a fine room for the presentation of cabaret and since that 1976 the hotel has been proud to present many acts of star status and others who have gone on to become national attractions. The very first Wedding Reception took place at the Langstone Cliff Hotel in 1947 and countless wedding receptions and Civil Wedding Ceremonies have taken place here since then. Indeed we are now proud to be presenting celebrations of Silver & Ruby, Golden and even the occasional Diamond Weddings celebration for couples many of whose original reception took place here.

A wide choice of meals for your wedding breakfast, either banquet or buffet can be found in the menu planner and you will also find our very popular wedding package featured there. In addition, we have 5 rooms licensed for Civil Wedding Ceremonies, which are the Washington Ballroom, Lincoln Restaurant, Verandah Room, Lounge and the Drawing Room. The ceremony is simple but very pleasing and the convenience for all concerned of having the ceremony and the reception in the same building has to be experienced to be fully appreciated. Transport considerations are reduced to nothing and even the impact the weather may have becomes quite minimal.
