Northcote Manor is one of the most luxurious wedding venues in Devon for a bride and groom to create that perfect day. Each of the eleven guest bedrooms and various drawing rooms have been individually and elegantly designed to ensure your comfort and to provide those all important special touches for your special day.
Northcote is licensed to hold civil ceremonies and can accommodate from 2 to 50, in house, for a seated wedding breakfast or up to 80 if you use the restaurant and adjoining drawing room together, alternatively if you choose to have an informal yet stunning wedding buffet more can be accommodated. This creates a wonderful atmosphere where your guests can mingle throughout the house and grounds. Ceremonies can now be held in our beautiful bright conservatory as well as the Oak Room. Commitment ceremonies and same sex marriages are welcome.
Exclusive use weddings at Northcote Manor allows you free use of the house and gardens, enabling you to be Lord and Lady of the Manor for the day and the opportunity to celebrate with friends and family, as if in your own home. The award-winning chef, Richie Herkes, has been creating some wonderful wedding banquets. His menus start at £40.50 for a 3-course dinner or lunch and there is an extensive selection for you to make your choice. There is not a formal package, as each wedding is as individual as the bride. We would be pleased for you to visit Northcote for a no commitment tour, to discuss your requirements in more detail and to sample the warm and friendly atmosphere, which has become our hallmark.

THE CONSERVATORY
June 2005 saw the opening of the brand new and much anticpated conservatory. We had a spectacular turnout for the official opening of our gorgeous new conservatory, many local people and businesses gathered throughout the afternoon to wish us well with the new build. The day ended on a high note when Head Chef Richie cooked a gastronomic 6 course feast with accompanying wines served in the conservatory to a full house of happy guests. The conservatory gives two defined dining areas to offer our guests one perfect for breakfast the other stunningly classic for formal dining. The conservatory opens out onto a bright sun terrace, which looks down the gently sloping; cob walled gardens onto the recently reinstated Victorian water garden with Japanese style planting and huge magnolia tree. The grounds have really matured and make the new conservatory appear as if it has always been here. The conservatory can now be used for conferences of up to 80 delegates theatre style. The space is perfect for meetings as it overlooks peaceful devon hills and a tranquil water garden, the ideal place to focus and concentrate.

Dining at The Manor House Restaurant is a feast of seasonality set in a remarkable Manor House perched high above the Taw Valley. Head chef Richie believes strongly in the concept of seasonality and supporting local suppliers. Our meat comes from Heal Farm five miles away in King's Nympton and our fish from the shores of Cornwall and it is all so delicious that thoughtful balanced dishes are a staple on our menus.
We serve well balanced and freshly prepared food in our slate roof conservatory and intimate candle lit restaurant. For the ultimate in romantic dining we have just completed 'The Sanctuary at Northcote Manor' our heated summer house where up to 10 guests can enjoy dining under the star by torch light and candle light with the Manor House as the perfect backdrop. We also offer private dining in our Oak room for up to 20 guests.
