St. Olaves is a small, intimate, character hotel situated in the heart of the historic City of Exeter. You will discover this “oasis” of a hotel sitting resplendent in its own Walled Garden in the oldest part of the city, yet only 400 Yards from the Cathedral itself. Here peace still prevails and you will find it hard to believe that you are in the centre of a metropolis with the song of birds and the gentle flow of an ornamental Fountain.

Accommodation
14 ensuite bedrooms including 2 suites. Alternatively there is a one bedroom apartment or a three bedroom house located in a beautiful Medieval building within the grounds of the hotel. These are available for both short and long
term stays.

Guest Facilities
All bedrooms have recently been refurbished in keeping with the style of the hotel but with modern touches. Many of our rooms overlook the walled garden.

New for 2007 is 'The Treatment Room at St Olaves' has been created to provide the ultimate destination to soothe, refresh and rejuvenate body and mind offering the full range of beauty, aromatherapy and well being treatments using the famous Decleor products.

Weddings
St. Olaves is licensed for Civil Ceremonies both at the Hotel and in the historic 11th Century Mint Building, in the grounds of the Hotel itself.

Dining
Dining at St. Olaves is always special, whether it be a Candlelit dinner for two or a meal with friends. Two Private Dining Rooms are ideal for larger Dinner Parties and again, as with the rest of the hotel, the experience is more akin to dining in a private town house than a hotel. Décor is subtle and soothing with fires burning and a traditional feel enhanced by gilt mirrors and old masters. Service is attentive but unobtrusive. The Seasonal Menu features fresh, local produce and is executed in a simple way combining the best elements of both traditional and contemporary styles.

A Lounge, Bar and Conservatory offers a relaxing environment from which to enjoy a pre or post dinner drink and where there is also a more informal Garden Menu operational during the day and evening.

Gardens & Grounds
St. Olaves stands in its own walled garden with its
ornamental fountain. A wide variety of flowering shrubs enhance the feeling of being in another world. The heady scent of Rosemary, Wisteria, and Lilac wafts around the courtyard.

How to get to St. Olaves.
The Hotel itself is located in Mary Arches Street at the top of Fore Street, opposite the multi storey carpark. It is accessed through an archway and there is private parking available.
