Enjoy Exeter fine dining with Mediterranean ambience and culinary delights at The Conservatory. Located in the heart of the city this contemporary Exeter restaurant offers delicious cuisine created from the finest local produce.

Stylish, but with a relaxed atmosphere, the cool art deco interior is the backdrop for an exciting fine dining experience.

Our head chef, Tony Gudgin, draws on influences from Italy, France and Thailand as he creates dishes to tempt the most discerning palate. We use nothing but the freshest, seasonal local ingredients to ensure the best flavours.

As you would expect from a premier Exeter restaurant, we use first rate local produce such as diver caught scallops, line caught sea bass, West Country fillet steak, rack of lamb, woodpigeon and cheeses.

The Menu is changed every day to include the freshest dishes of the season and as there's nothing worse for a customer than choosing their dish, only to find it's not available, a problem the constantly varying menu avoids.

• Roast Devon Free Range Chicken Breast filled with Wild Mushrooms. Served with Sweet Red Wine Sauce, Parmentier Potatoes and Fresh Vegetables
• Pan Fried Gressingham Duck Breast with Confit Duck Leg Cassis Sauce, Anna Potatoes and Fresh Vegetables
• Vegetarian Sampler of White Onion Tart with Parmesan Cheese and Truffle Oil Tomato and Basil Tart and Grilled Goats Cheese with Macerated Grapes

Desserts

• Fresh Strawberry and Vanilla Cheesecake
• Crème Brulee laced with Glayva
