The White Hart Restaurant

The White Hart offers an atmospheric venue for functions, a delicious meal or relaxing in the bar. The hotel is held in great affection by locals and visitors alike who enjoy i’s real ale, fine pub food and popular Sunday Lunches with a Traditional Jazz Band served
in the Brasserie Restaurant.

Lunch in the Brasserie Restaurant is available from 12.30pm till 2.00pm. Dinner from 6.30pm till 9.00pm Sunday Lunches from 12.30pm till 2.00pm.

STARTERS
Soup of the Day accompanied with homemade crusty bread
Homemade Game Pate served with toasted brioche and redcurrant compote
Carpaccio of Tuna with rocket, parmesan cheese shavings and extra virgin olive oil
Red Curry Fishcakes, salmon and cod spiced fishcakes served with a cucumber raita
Beignets of Brie, golden fried and served with a purple berry coulis
Moules Mariniere, River Teign mussels served in a broth of white wine, shallots, garlic and cream
King Prawn Cocktail, Greenland prawns tossed through a salad dressed with Marie Rose sauce topped with shell on king prawns
Crispy Parma Ham Salad with artichoke, spinach, rocket and sundried tomatoes
Goats Cheese and Red Onion Marmalade Tart served with a small salad

MAINS
Tournedos Rossini, 6 oz fillet steak served on a bread croute covered in pate, topped with a red wine and mushroom sauce
Wild Fillet of Sea Bass with a pine nut butter crust on top of rocket and drizzled with homemade salsa verdi.
Chicken Supreme, local fillet of chicken filled with prawns and spinach, served with a white wine and lemon cream sauce
Wild Mushroom Tagliatelle made to order and served with a sauce of grain mustard, white wine and cream
Char-Grilled John Dory Fillets served with a mango, avocado, prawn and chilli salsa
Loin of Local Venison wrapped in bacon and served with a sauce of roasted garlic, cranberry and port
Butternut Squash Risotto with cherry tomato and parmesan
Local Pork Fillet stuffed with apricots and served with a sage and cider cream sauce
Pan Fried Skate Wing served with caper, lemon and black butter
Noisettes of Lamb served with a rich redcurrant and orange sauce
