Here at the Hotel Riviera, we have a proud reputation for fine cuisine. Our Executive Chef and his team prepare discerning menus that combine international dishes with the best English cooking, featuring a selection of fresh local produce with an emphasis on seafood.

The restaurant is open to non-residents and an extensive à la Carte menu is available, as well as Table d'hote Luncheon and Dinner menus. Special diets and Vegetarian meals can be made available by arrangement. Dinner can be ordered until 9 pm. We are also pleased to make special arrangements for pre-theatre meals and also for children's high tea. Light refreshments are always available and can be served in the Regency bar, in the Foyer or on the patio during summer months.

The Hotel Riviera is a luxury Devon hotel, splendidly positioned at the centre of Sidmouth’s esplanade, overlooking Lyme Bay. The glorious sea views can be enjoyed from the recently re-designed en-suite bedrooms, all of which are fully appointed and have many thoughtful extras.

In the elegant Bay-View dining room, guests are offered a fine choice of dishes from extensive menus, prepared by English trained chefs with local seafood being a particular speciality. This fine dining Sidmouth restaurant is also open to non-residents.

The Regency Bar has recently been completely refurbished to create a superbly relaxing environment. Entertainment is provided on many evenings by our Resident Pianist.
