Reeds Restaurant at Swallows Eaves Hotel is a light & airy restaurant, accommodating just twenty-two people. Beautifully remodelled, it offers an intimate dining experience where top quality food is provided at reasonable prices. Delicious food is carefully prepared using local fresh produce and where the quality of the food is matched by seamless service.

The menus, which change regularly, can be described as “modern British” creating dishes based upon tried and tested combinations.

With food and wine this tempting you'll be glad you only have to go upstairs at the end of the night!

All produce is sourced locally & cooked to order. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements and we will be pleased to cater for them.

The hotel has eight attractive guest bedrooms, each beautifully decorated offering a high standard of hotel accommodation. Each guest room includes digital TV, radio alarm, hairdryer, complimentary Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries & beverage tray. Several guest rooms have glorious views across the wooded hills of the Axe valley, while other guest rooms enjoy views overlooking the hotel gardens and grounds.

All guest bedrooms are en suite with bathroom, shower or both; ready for you to wash away the rigors of the day and pamper yourself with our wonderfully thick bath sheets & hand towels. Every bed is made up with luxurious sheets of soft Egyptian cotton for the ultimate sleeping experience. Local Tarka Spring water with Dorset biscuits, books & magazines all add those welcoming extras that make you feel at home while on holiday.

Our spacious ground floor twin bedded guest room offers easy access accommodation for those who are disabled or have difficulty with stairs. There is a ramp at the front door and all of the ground floor is level with easy access to the restaurant and cloakroom.

For holiday guests planning sightseeing itineraries in Devon, Dorset and beyond or guests on business wanting to keep in touch , our hotel offers complimentary wireless internet access - available throughout the hotel.

Swallows Eaves Hotel is easy to access being located on the main Sidmouth/Lyme Regis road with plenty of private car parking space.

The hotel is totally non-smoking and regrettably we do not have the facilities to accommodate children or pets.
