Boringdon Hall - Boringdon Gin
A collaboration with local artisan distiller ‘Still On The Move’ resulted in creating their very own Boringdon Gin on the grounds. Using the finest botanicals including elderflower, juniper, angelica, pink pepper, fennel, orange peel and pink grapefruit, it is now their house gin and it is paired with Fever Tree and pink grapefruit & orange zest. Also available to buy by the bottle so you can take a taste of Boringdon home with you!
Bovey Castle - Sloe Gin & Cocktail Making
Create your own sloe gin in the beautiful gardens of Bovey Castle. The lesson starts with pressing apples in the traditional way and once the product is complete, you can try it! If cocktails are more up your street, learn about the history of the technique behind creating some of the world’s most famous mixes with the guidance of Bovey Castle’s resident mixologists. Recreate a classic gin martini or invent your own concoction! Did we mention you can taste and drink as you go?
Salcombe Harbour - Salcombe Gin School
The kind folk at the Salcombe Distilling Company are sharing their love of gin with an enticing experience for the very curious gin lovers at their gin school in Salcombe. Salcombe Harbour Hotel & the Gin School have joined forces to create an immersive experience which includes a three hour lesson to learn about the secrets of gin distillation whilst creating and distilling your very own 70cl bottle. Then you can head back to the Harbour for dinner and a luxurious night’s sleep. The perfect coastal getaway!
