Since its days as a coaching inn on the Eggesford Estate more than 150 years ago, The Fox and Hounds Country Hotel has been a popular destination for guests looking for the peace and tranquillity of the beautiful Devon countryside.
The Heywood Restaurant at the Fox & Hounds offers casual-dining serving traditional British and globally inspired dishes in a relaxed friendly atmosphere.
Enjoy good food, freshly prepared by our team of dedicated chefs led by Head Chef, James Nightingale. James returns from years honing his skills as head chef aboard some of the worlds largest mega-yachts to raise his new family and make the Heywood Restaurant a destination for those who appreciate good food. Seatings for dinner are available daily between 18:00 and 20:30.
