The Mole Resort is a family-owned 125 acre estate with luxury accommodation, truly Devonian hospitality, numerous dining options from fine dining in the AA 2 Rosette Devon View  Restaurant to casual dining in the Cellars and new for autumn 2018, a sumptuous Laura Ashley Tea Room. There is a wealth of sporting activities overlooking spectacular views across the surrounding Devon hillsides. In The Manor House, the 12 rooms have been individually designed, with colour schemes, furniture and fittings designed to match the atmosphere of each room.  These rooms offer a luxurious stay with many individual stylish touches. The 30 Estate Rooms have all seen a significant modernisation and offer comfort and elegance in the peaceful surroundings around the Estate.  All the rooms have Smart TV’s and complimentary internet access throughout.

Devon View Restaurant at The Mole Resort

The Mole Resort offers a range of dining options, from fine dining to a classic Devon Cream Teas.

The AA 2 Rosette Devon View Restaurant has stunning views across the rolling Devon hills to Exmoor. The team of Chefs have created menus using ingredients sourced from the extensive variety of local produce to create a wonderful fine dining experience. The hotel offers guests intimate dining, as well as private dining facilities for entertaining and special occasions.

Cellars Restaurant and Bar, with the adjacent Billiards Rooms, is a cosy, comfortable area to relax, enjoy a drink and good company as well as a more informal dining option.

The Drawing Room and Morning Room offer true Devon hospitality, ideal for morning coffee or Devon Cream Teas with the most beautiful of views from inside or outside on the terrace and lawn.

New to The Mole Resort in the autumn of 2018, is the sumptuous Laura Ashley Tea Room situated in the Pavilion. What better way to enjoy afternoon tea than looking across the extensive views to Exmoor.

The Club Bar, also situated in the Pavilion, is ideal for relaxing with a drink after a workout in the gym, a game of tennis or a round of golf, plus there is an 80-inch TV with all the HD Sky Sports Channels.

This magnificent country manor set in 125 acres of mature parkland is nestled above the Mole and Taw valleys, with stunning views that provide a breathtakingly romantic location for your Wedding, whatever the season.

The Mole Resort caters for weddings large and small with flexible areas throughout the estate, with the Palazzo housing our stunning wedding venue, offering a romantic and stylish venue with a maximum capacity of 400 guests.

In the summer months, the large outdoor terrace or croquet lawn adjacent to the Manor House, provides the perfect setting for wedding ceremonies and receptions. In autumn the valleys are transformed into a riot of rich golds, reds and yellows before those beautifully crisp, clear winter days arrive with spectacular views across Exmoor. As the warmer weather sets in the wonderful scent of spring is in the air bringing with it the bright, fresh greens of new leaves.

The Mole Resort offers a wide range of meeting and conference facilities. Catering for small and large events, the Palazzo is a dedicated flexible venue, with 6 separate meeting spaces with a maximum capacity of 400 guests. Set in a beautiful location with views across to Exmoor, the tranquil setting offers peace and quiet, with the hotel team on hand to provide professional, unobtrusive service. Refreshments can be provided to suit your needs whether you require a working lunch, a dinner banquet or one of the hotel's legendary Devon Cream Teas.

There is a comprehensive range of on-site activities and country pursuits for delegates to try out, in addition to a state of the art hotel gym, tennis courts, croquet lawn, 20m swimming pool, 18 hole golf course and acres of parkland to explore.  Your guests can even go shooting or try their hand at fishing on the hotel's very own section of the River Mole. A range of team building activities can be arranged with the hotel.

Location

The Mole Resort is ideally placed within easy reach of Exmoor and Dartmoor National Park and the North Devon Atlantic coast.

Locally there are beautiful nature trails and cycle paths like the Tarka Trail, hiking and wildlife watching on the moors or some of the best surfing in the UK at the nearby beaches like Croyde and Woolacombe.  You will also find access to hundreds of miles of spectacular walks along the North Devon Coast, following the South West Coast Path.  This all makes The Mole Resort an ideal base for a short break or family holiday.

Visitors favourites in North Devon include the historic fishing village of Clovelly, the twin villages on Lynton and Lynmouth linked by a Victorian water powered cliff railway, the Dartington factory in Great Torrington where you can see the handmade crystal being made, plus family visitor attractions like The Big Sheep. The local village of Chittlehamholt is a lovely place to wander around, learn about the local history and meet the local community.
